Material Removal is an emerging market in the robotics industry. The revenue potential is high. The challenge? To be performed correctly, many processes require the nuance of human touch. Convincing manufacturers that robots can replicate this sense of touch is difficult. ATI wanted a video to help them do just that. 

BTS coolness: The location of Max’s interview proved difficult to work in. The room was small, and the angle giving the most visual interest looked directly into the observation windows behind him. Reflections from the filming equipment were challenging to manage. To solve this, I draped the camera with black out curtains to prevent reflections from showing in the glass. I also had Max wear a black shirt to minimize his reflection and allow us to see more of the background action.
